Hello & welcome

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and I’m glad you’re here.

My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experience in therapy. After starting my first career as a high school teacher, I found myself seeking support through postpartum challenges. In therapy, I experienced the healing that can happen when we feel seen, understood, and cared for. The support I received inspired me to offer that same sense of connection and care to others.

I share this because I want you to know that I’m human, too. I know what it’s like to hurt, worry, grieve, and struggle. I also know how much harder these things can feel when we face them alone.

Both personally and professionally, I’ve come to believe that we heal through safe, meaningful connections where we can show up as we truly are.

How we’ll work together

MyApproach

My hope is to create a space where you can let your guard down and be honest about what you’re going through. A space where you can…

  1. 1say the things you’ve been afraid to say out loud,
  2. 2take a break from feeling like you have to hold everything together,
  3. 3question the beliefs you’ve always been told to accept,
  4. 4and make room for emotions you may have learned to hide or minimize.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.

You can show up exactly as you are, messy, uncertain, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change.

My approach is collaborative and shaped around your unique needs, whether you’re coming to therapy individually or as a couple. I draw from Client-Centered Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Gottman Theory to help you better understand yourself, navigate difficult emotions, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and the people you love.
